It’s canned tuna noodles! It is one of the easiest and cheapest pasta recipes in a few minutes. This recipe is simple, quick, and full of flavor. It also uses ingredients that you already have.

This recipe is super simple and can be made in just four steps. Boil, Sauté, Mix, and Serve. I like to serve Tuna Pasta with homemade Garlic Bread.

TUNA PASTA RECIPE

The words “The blessings of the LORD bring wealth without any pain” Prov. 10:22 kept echoing in my head as I ate this tuna pasta. The simple nature of this post played a role in the words that came to my mind.

Easy tuna pasta is easy. This dish takes only 15 minutes to prepare. This dish is easy to make and has a lot of flavor from the simple ingredients. It is slightly creamy because I wanted it to be healthy, so I added half a tub of cream cheese.

WHY CANNED TUNA PASTA IS SO GOOD

This is an affordable dish. This recipe costs less than PS3.

This dish will surely please even the pickiest eaters, especially if served with homemade Garlic Bread. This pasta dish is my kids’ favorite and takes only 10 to 15 minutes.

Use any pasta that you have on hand.

This simple pasta dish has the advantage of allowing you to cook the pasta and sauce simultaneously. Prepare the ingredients while the pasta is cooking.

It is also good to keep in the refrigerator for a few days.

INGREDIENTS

This recipe can be made with any pasta, from spaghetti to linguine or fusilli.

The canned chunk tuna in olive oil is my preferred choice over those in brine or springwater. Also, the chunkier tuna in the oil is my preference.

You can substitute olive oil with any other cooking oil that you like.

You can use any cheese you like, including parmesan.

Cayenne Pepper can be substituted for red pepper flakes to increase the heat.

Salt and freshly ground black Pepper.

CANNED TUNA PASTA

In my case, I cooked my pasta in the instant pot pressure cooker for 4 minutes on high pressure.

While the pasta cooks, you can chop the garlic and onions. If you still need to do so, drain the tuna. After the pasta has been cooked, drain it and reserve some of the pasta water.

Add olive oil to a pan and heat it until hot. Add the onions and saute them for 2 minutes. Then add the garlic and continue sautéing until fragrant.

Reduce the heat, add the red pepper flakes, and stir together.

Then add the pasta water and cream cheese to the aromatics. Mix well.

Add the tuna, drain, and mix into the pasta. Stir gently so that the fish does not break. Add some parsley and stir it into the pasta. Remove the pasta from the heat.

TIPS

Add some spinach for color and to make the dish healthier. This recipe was made without any spinach.

My family does not like capers, but I do. If capers are your thing, then add them to this dish. So good.

You can adjust the red pepper flakes according to your taste or make them hotter.

If desired, add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.

If desired, you can bake your tuna pasta. Make sure to add some sauce before baking the dish so that it does not come out dry.

Use gluten-free pasta to make this recipe gluten-free.

HOW to STORE

This recipe will stay fresh for up to five days in the refrigerator in an airtight jar at the correct temperature.

The pasta can be stored in the freezer for three months. Make sure it is completely cooled down before you keep it.
